Do You Know a Local Business which could be the Responsible Business Champion for 2016?

Local MP, Tom Brake, is asking residents to nominate a company in Carshalton and Wallington for the Responsible Business Champion 2016 award.

Tom is looking for a business that consistently supports the local community, invests in a healthy workplace, offers apprenticeship and training to all age groups, and promotes equality and diversity in the workplace. He is urging constituents to nominate a business that they think exemplifies these qualities. Tom will choose a business to represent the constituency at a summer reception in Parliament for the National Champion 2016.

Tom said, “Carshalton and Wallington is lucky to have some outstanding businesses which play key roles in our community. I am looking for a business that goes beyond their legal and contractual obligations to support its employees, our community and goes the extra mile for wonderful Wallington and Carshalton and its residents.

“I call on residents to nominate a company they think is most deserving of recognition as our local Responsible Business Champion.”

If you know of a business that meets the qualifications, please email info@tombrake.co.uk with the name of the business and why you think they qualify. Submissions must be in before the 10th April 2016.
