Brake supports local money management course

key_money_course.jpgOn 22nd February, Tom Brake, MP for Carshalton and Wallington, presented certificates at The Phoenix Centre in Wallington to delegates who had successfully completed the Christians Against Poverty money management course.

The CAP Money Course is a free course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that works. In a short time, they help those in need get to grips with their finances, so they can budget, save and prevent debt.

Following the event, Tom had this to say:

“The CAP course is a wonderful way to help people manage their money effectively. The event was a great success and it was an absolute pleasure to see local residents taking part in this course.

“Whether you're feeling the weight of debt, struggling to find work or trying to overcome a dependency – I highly recommend using their help”.
