Chance to raise local issues with Sutton Police

April 27, 2004 12:00 AM

On 28th April, Tom Brake is sharing a platform with Joe Royle, the Borough's senior police officer and Greater London Assembly Member, Graham Tope to discuss local policing with local residents. In addition, Colin Hall, John Keys and John Leach are three of the local ward councillors due to attend this meeting.

The purpose of the meeting will be to help identify policing priorities for local residents and to hear the progress that is being made on joint initiatives to address issues such as anti-social behaviour and vandalism.

Tom Brake said, "As a Wallington resident, I am proud of the town and the area. I will want to hear what is in hand to stop the small minority who are trying to damage this town's reputation."

The public meeting will take place at the Red Cross Centre in Marlborough Court, Cranley Gardens, Wallington on 28th April 2004 starting at 7.30pm. Please call 020 8669 2225 to confirm your attendance.

If you are a resident of the Carshalton and Wallington constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.

    • If you agree, Tom Brake MP, the Liberal Democrats, and their elected representatives may use the information you provide to contact you about issues you may find of interest. Some of the contacts may be automated. You can opt out of these contacts at any time by contacting us.
