The First Results Are In!

The first 1000 results from Tom Brake's Constituency Health Survey have been analysed.

The returned surveys are flooding into Tom's office, as constituents respond positively to Tom Brake's initiative aimed at identifying their likes and dislikes about the health service locally and other key issues.

The surveys have produced several interesting results. 96% of respondents think St Helier Hospital is an asset to the area, a finding that lends even more support to Tom's already burgeoning Save Our St. Helier campaign.

Another interesting result on a matter of great concern highlights 89% support for Lib Dem policy to withdraw troops from Iraq.

Tom Brake said, "This survey is going to be the largest ever of its kind in Carshalton and Wallington. This is your chance to have your say."

Once all the surveys have been returned, the results will be sent to the Health Secretary Patricia Hewitt and local health managers.

If you have not received Tom Brake's health survey, it should be delivered shortly. If you do not receive a copy within the next month you can contact Tom Brake's office on 020 8255 8155 or by email on braket@parliament.uk for a copy.
