Tom Brake MP for Carshalton and Wallington visited Culvers House Primary School last Friday to collect entries for his annual Christmas Card Competition.

The pupils at Culvers House have created a fantastic range of colourful entries, one of which, if it is the winning design, will be made into a Christmas jumper. The design will also be used on Tom's Christmas card. This is the thirteenth year in a row that Tom is running a Christmas competition for local primary schools. The Christmas card will be sent to over a thousand constituents and local organisations.

Entries are split into two groups, one for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and another for Year 3 - Year 6 with the judging panel awarding three prizes to each group. The overall winner will be announced at a ceremony kindly hosted by Wallington Library and the Friends of Wallington Library. The winner and their family will be invited for tea at the House of Commons.

Tom said, "I am happy that the competition continues to be so well received. I am sure I will yet again be stunned by the multitude of imaginative and dazzling designs that the children produce. There are certainly some budding artists in Carshalton and Wallington's primary schools."
