The IWF is the UK internet hotline for the public to report child sexual abuse content, criminally obscene adult content and non-photographic images of child sexual abuse in a secure and confidential way.

By becoming an IWF Champion, MP for Carshalton and Wallington Tom Brake shows his dedication to raising awareness of the importance of the fight against online child sexual abuse content and of the work of the IWF.

Tom said "This cause is a crucial one because the victims simply can't fight for it themselves. Responsible organizations like the IWF are doing what they can to stop the abuse, and I'm proud to say I'm with them 100%."

The IWF successfully works in partnership with the online industry, law enforcement, government, and international partners to minimise the availability of this content. Its work is globally considered as one of the best examples in its field.

Tom said "Because of the emphasis we put on this problem, the United Kingdom is now host to less than 1% of worldwide online sexual child abuse, which is down from 17% in 1997."
