Good News on St Helier Hospital

GPs and healthcare professionals from across South West London have announced that the BSBV review that recommended the closure of key healthcare services at St Helier hospital has been scrapped.

A new strategy on how to deliver health services in our area will now be developed by local Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) so that the best possible care can be delivered in the future.

Tom Brake said, “it is good news for St Helier that the BSBV review has been scrapped but we still need to continue demonstrating our support for St Helier and make sure that essential health services remain accessible”.
