Local MP Celebrates Women’s Hub Launch

Carshalton and Wallington MP, Tom Brake, was one of a number of guests invited to the launch of the new Women’s Hub in Carshalton. The launch took place on the 5th April.  The Hub is believed to be the first of its kind in London.

The new Hub will provide vulnerable women with mentoring, benefit advice and a range of other support services. The aim is to help women make a positive change in their behaviour by providing them with a friendly environment in which they can receive help and encouragement.

Tom said, “It was great to celebrate the launch of the new Women’s Hub in Carshalton. It is crucial that we give vulnerable women the tools they need to make a positive change and turn their lives around. The Hub will provide these tools and help them get back into a normal life and routine. I look forward to seeing all the good things the Women’s Hub will do for our community.”
