Tom Brake MP - Representing Carshalton and Wallington in Parliament since 1997

Working together provides solutions

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 4th May 2004

Commenting on Steve Norris's visit to Carshalton today, Tom Brake said:

"If Mr Norris is visiting Carshalton to make some positive suggestions about reducing the fear of crime in the area, his visit will be welcomed. However, if he is here to talk up the crime statistics and talk down the area, then he will not be welcomed.

"Sutton has a proud record of partnership between the local Council, the Police, local business organisations, residents and other organisations. It is working together that provides the solutions."
