Trevor MacDonald on St Helier Hospital and MRSA12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Thu 28th Oct 2004 Commenting on today's Trevor MacDonald TV programme about MRSA which featured St Helier Hospital, Tom Brake said, "It is clear from this programme and other evidence, that it is harder to keep an old hospital clean and free of super-bugs. This must re-inforce the case for demolishing St Helier Hospital and replacing it with a brand new hospital." Tom Brake raised a constituent's concerns about MRSA in a parliamentary debate on the 12th May 2004.
