Brake Drops In For Lunch In St Helier

Tom Brake at Hill House Community Centre, St Helier Estate

Local MP Tom Brake visited Hill House Community Centre on the St Helier Estate recently to join his constituents for lunch. The Drop-in Cafe for the Older Person is open to older residents of the St. Helier, Wandle Valley and Wrythe Wards. The Cafe, which is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11.30 to 2pm offers lunch, snacks and refreshments at affordable prices.

The Hill House Community Centre itself offer social activities and exercise classes for free.

Mr Brake said, "There is a great social atmosphere at the Cafe. It offers a warm welcome to older people and the chance to try wholesome, healthy meals."
