New era for Orchard Hill College

Local MP Tom Brake was on hand today for the opening ceremony at Orchard Hill College of Further Education in its Wallington Town Hall location. Orchard Hill College is a specialist college for students with profound/complex learning difficulties/disabilities.

Mr Brake said, "It's great to see our much-loved Town Hall being brought back into service as the new home for Orchard Hill College."

Sutton College of Liberal Arts will be joining Orchard Hill College; Sutton College is expected to moved into the first floor of Wallington Town Hall next year.

Mr Brake added, "With Orchard Hill and Sutton College of Liberal Arts sharing Wallington Town Hall, the Town Hall will be an education beacon for the whole community."
