Following complaints from a local resident, Tom Brake MP is to contact Network Rail, pressing them to remove the corpses of dead pigeons from netting under Wallington bridge.

Tom Brake said, "This is not a very good advertisement for the town centre. Network Rail have to accept that their bridge is one of Wallington's most noticeable landmarks and whether its pigeons or graffiti, they must move quickly to clean it up."
