Business Tourism Boosts The Economy - Brake

Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake has given his support to the fifth annual National Meetings Week, which runs from the 3rd -7th October this year. National Meetings Week aims to promote the value of the conference sector, which is currently worth £10 billion to Britain.

As well as a host of celebrity names, Al Gore and Phil Jupitas amongst others, organisations such as Chelsea Football Club and ExCeL London have also given the event the thumbs up.

Tom Brake said: "National Meetings Week highlights the tourism which businesses bring to the UK. People should get involved and see what the event can do for them."
