Sutton Car Sharing Takes The Green Flag - Brake1.00.00am GMT Wed 9th Nov 2005 Local MP Tom Brake is lending his whole-hearted support to Car Share Week (14 to 18 November). Sutton Council, which is spearheading the initiative locally, launched its campaign with Tom Brake MP, the Mayor of Sutton Lesly O'Connell, Council leader Sean Brennan and Councillor Colin Hall. Mr Brake, who serves as the Liberal Democrat Transport Spokesman, said, "Car sharing is sociable, saves money, and cuts down on both congestion and pollution. Car-sharing is a win-win solution."
