Foster Carers Pick Up a Pizza with Tom Brake MP

Tom Brake and foster carers celebrate new partnership

Tom Brake shared a pizza with foster carers on Friday at Pizza Express in Wallington. He used the lunch to thank them for the invaluable support they give to children.

Tom Brake said, "Foster carers are there to provide the emotional support that children need and deserve. These carers are worthy of great praise and play a really important role in the local community."

Mr Brake has welcomed the new partnership between Sutton Fostering Service and Pizza Express. They have teamed up to give good deals to foster carers and the children that they look after. Pizza Express is offering a discount in 4 of their branches in and around the borough.

Foster Care Fortnight (8th - 21st May 2006) is a national initiative to raise public awareness of the need for more foster carers, and this event is part of Sutton's campaign to help our local children.
