Tom Brake MP is proud to announce that in the UK Youth Parliament elections 2006, his constituency, Carshalton and Wallington, had the highest voter turnout of all the Great London boroughs and took 4th place nationally.

The election indicates that there is a large percentage of young people in this area that are interested in politics.

Commenting on the outcome, Mr Brake said, "I am delighted to see young people taking an interest in politics and would also like to congratulate those in my constituency for actively setting a good example".
