Prize winning pupils take Brake for tea

Tom Brake MP was delighted to welcome prize winners from two schools in the borough to the Houses of Parliament for tea.

The schoolchildren won the chance to visit the Palace of Westminster thanks to the Rotary Club of Carshalton Beeches and were given a tour of the Palace of Westminster, including the terrace, tea with Tom, and a tour of Jewel Tower.

Commenting Tom Brake MP said:

"Today has provided the children with an excellent opportunity to explore Westminster and find out all about the history of the building."
