Brake and Burstow Help Launch Smarter Travel Sutton

Tom Brake MP for Carshalton and Wallington and Paul Burstow MP for Sutton and Cheam were on hand last Sunday (13th May 2007) in Sutton High Street to help launch Smarter Travel Sutton's campaign to boost cycling and walking and cut care dependency in the Borough.

This event was the first in a series of travel-awareness events organised by Smarter Travel Sutton.

Speaking after the event, Tom Brake said, "Cycling and walking are win-win activities. They improve health and the environment and can save money."
