Public Display of Revised Shotfield Plans

4.35.43pm BST (GMT +0100) Thu 11th Oct 2007

Tom Brake MP is encouraging constituents to attend the upcoming Wallington Farmers' Market to check out the three revised plans for Shotfield Health Centre. In addition, there will be a presentation on the plans at the Beddington and Wallington Forum on 17 October 2007. Information boards have been placed in the Wallington Library and the health centre itself. From Monday, another board has been displayed at the Phoenix Centre. People are encouraged to share their views of the revised plans.

Tom said 'Shotfield is my health centre and it is currently in terrible condition. The building is from the nineteenth century and cannot house the advances of the twenty first. The centre desperately needs to be rebuilt so it can provide the best care possible to patients. The general public is encouraged to share their views and opinions on the new health centre so it will provide for all patients needs as best it can.'
