Tom Brake MP - Representing Carshalton and Wallington in Parliament since 1997

Tom Brake Joins the Internet Craze with his MySpace & Blog

On 12 October, 2006, Tom Brake became the third MP to join in the MySpace craze. Tom saw the site as an excellent opportunity to give the public a birds eye view of the not-so-glamorous life of a politician, and an opportunity to try to involve the disengaged in the world of politics.

Tom also posted his first real blog simultaneously on both the new myspace, and in the History Matters, national archives of 'A Day in History.'

The press release is available in the news section of this site. For now though, head on over to www.myspace.com/tombrake and see what your elected representative has been up to!
