Summary of Aim

Save Sutton Magistrates Court

Full Text of Petition

The petition of the supporters of Sutton Magistrates Court declares that the petitioners welcome the important role played by the Court in delivering local justice.

The petitioners recognise the successful 2004 campaign to save Sutton Magistrates Court which enabled the Court to remain open.

The petitioners are concerned by the proposals being put forward by Her Majesty Court Service to close a number of Courts in the Greater London Area.

The petitioners therefore request that Her Majestys Court Service do not undertake action to close Sutton Magistrates Court.
