I feel that this coalition was the best thing that came out of the last election as it tempered the Tory MPs and made them work with somebody else to get at least SOME LIBERAL DEMOCRACT POLICIES on the statue book and see what our Liberal MPs are like in a government.

In Government we have delivered a £800 tax cut for those on low and middle incomes, set up a £2.5 billion Pupil Premium, which puts more money into schools – targeted at pupils who need the most help and invested in renewable energy – creating 200,000 new jobs.

This would not have happened without the Lib Dems in Government.

At the same time, we have taken difficult decisions restoring our economy and helping to create more than 1.8 million new jobs.

A future Tory Government would give tax cuts to the rich at the expense of working families and would introduce new laws so that employers could fire at will.

That is what you will get if a Conservative MP is elected in Carshalton and Wallington.

I have always voted for Tom Brake because of his good animal welfare record and his transparency, he has never been caught up in any expenses scandal, etc. Issues regarding this country, though, are becoming intolerable so things might have to change, sadly.

Likewise. I have voted for Tom Brake every time but his behaviour in supporting, and even promoting ,various vicious policies has lost my vote for good. Even if I finish up with a Tory (my reason for voting Lib Dem was always to avoid that) at least I know what I will be getting.

I’m a Paul Burstow constituent but the sentiment is the same. My automatic Lib Dem vote has been lost by the Lib Dems entering a coalition with the Conservatives. How many, like me, wanting to keep the Conservatives out, feel so let down by a Party they thought they could trust.
