The competition is being run by the Fields in Trust UK s a national charity committed to protecting parks and green spaces in local communities in the UK. Since its founding in 1925, the charity has protected over 2,700 sites.

The public has until November 3rd to cast votes for their favourite local green space. The winner will be announced at the Fields in Trust Awards Ceremony at Lord's Cricket Ground on November 29th.

“Local parks, such as Beddington Park, are vital community spaces that make our area one of the best places to live, work and raise a family. I hope that residents will join me and vote for Beddington Park.”
