Tom Brake MP's annual Christmas Card competition once again showcased Carshalton and Wallington pupils' creativity and artistic flair. Many pupils from local schools across the constituency entered a colourful array of impressive designs, featuring snowmen, reindeer, Father Christmases and Christmas trees.

Tom was so impressed with this year's entries that he awarded goody bags to all runners-up. The winning design was sent in by Thomas Sheppard and will be used as Tom's official Christmas card which goes out to around 1,000 people locally.

Tom said:

"I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all of the pupils from local schools who took part in my Christmas Card competition this year. There were lots of fantastic entries and it was very hard for me and my staff to pick a winner! It’s always great to see the creative designs we receive each year and it is clear that there are lots of budding young artists in Carshalton and Wallington. I would like to extend my congratulations to Thomas Sheppard for his design, I’m looking forward to having it on my Christmas cards this year!”
