Tom Brake MP welcomed last week’s latest cancer awareness week campaign by NHS England (London).
From Monday, January 29th to Sunday, February 4th, NHS England (London) ran a cancer week awareness campaign to highlight the challenges for and successes of cancer services across London.
The main goal of the campaign was to raise awareness of the role of NHS England (London) in commissioning care for people with cancer. Additionally, NHS England (London) hopes to draw attention to the work being done nationally to improve cancer services, using London case studies.
Carshalton & Wallington MP Tom Brake said:
“Raising awareness, for an unpredictable disease such as cancer, is critical to early detection and saving lives. I showed my support by using my social media platforms to spread the word in the local community.’
