Liberal Democrats are open and outward-looking. We believe that Britain is better off in the EU, but respect the decision taken by the British people. We will fight against the Conservatives disastrous hard Brexit, which will make the UK a poorer place.

"I believe that we are better off inside the EU, but I respect the outcome of the vote. I will continue to make a strong case that people must have a say in the final deal and that it must include membership of the Single Market and customs union. The jobs of millions of British citizens depend on it. If re-elected, I will continue to fight for an open, modern and inclusive Britain - Tom Brake"
