Tom Brake MP was given a guided tour at St. Helier Hospital’s Open Day on Thursday, 17 September.
Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust organised this open day as an opportunity for Tom and other visitors to understand the pressures the NHS Trust faces, linked to its poor buildings.
“This open day is a big step for the Save Our St. Helier campaign. People will be able to physically see why St. Helier Hospital is in need of significant investment and how investment will improve patient care. As St. Helier Hospital is both important to me and the people I represent, I ask for continued support in keeping Our St. Helier alive.”
The hospital hopes to convince visitors that in order to provide the most up-to-date care, parts of the building must be reconstructed.
Epsom Hospital's open day will be Wednesday, 23 September. Local meetings will take place in addition to these two open days.
