Best Cafe - Dotty's Teahouse
Best Shop - Calladoodles
Best Hairdresser/Barber - Frank Di Lusso
Best Pub - The Sun
Best Newcomer - Ginger Frog
Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake said:
"It is always a pleasure to recognise local businesses that make our community so special. This year’s competition was full of talented, hard-working people whose businesses are thriving, despite competition from the big national chains.
"Many thanks to everyone who took part and to NatWest for kindly sponsoring the restaurant category - and a big congratulations to the winners on this special recognition. There was great enthusiasm for the competition.
"To top it all off, six lucky residents will win £50 each to spend at the winning business they nominated. I will be picking the names out of a hat and contacting the winning residents in the next few days."
Tom celebrated the winners by paying a visit to their businesses where he met and congratulated the owners in person and awarded them with certificates of excellence.
