Local MP Tom Brake has launched a survey for residents in Carshalton & Wallington to share their thoughts on bus services in the borough.
As one of the only London boroughs without a Tube station, and less-than-reliable train services, Sutton residents frequently have to rely on buses to get around.
Later this year, Transport for London will be conducting a review of bus services in the borough. Tom will be taking the results of his survey straight to TfL and calling for the changes that residents want to see.
The survey raises questions about a variety of issues, including capacity, ticketing, reliability, cleanliness and more -- as well as overall satisfaction and which services could be improved.
Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake said:
"So many people in our borough rely on buses to get around, pop to the shops and visit friends. TfL’s review of bus services is a great opportunity to have our say and I want to make sure everyone’s views are heard.
"My survey gives residents the chance to share their thoughts and concerns about the bus services in the borough. I encourage everyone to take part and share the survey with their friends and family so that we can work to solve any issues that people have and improve the overall quality of bus services in Sutton."
