Last Friday, Tom visited The John Fisher School where he took part in a debate and a question and answer time with Year 12 pupils. Tom debated issues ranging from Brexit to knife crime with a Conservative opponent.
Carshalton & Wallington MP Tom Brake said:
"I am honoured that The John Fisher School invited me to come and speak to students about politics. They demonstrated great enthusiasm during the debate, asked hard-hitting questions about issues affecting their day to day lives, and their future.
"Students asked questions on topics they are passionate about, including how to tackle knife crime, whether drill music should be banned and the risks of No Deal Brexit. I want them to continue to use that passion in their studies and to drive their future aspirations."
