Diamond’s Horses: Brake Joins Autumn Fair Fun

On Sunday, Tom Brake MP and the Mayor of Sutton were two of the hundreds of visitors to The Diamond Centre’s annual Autumn Fair.

The Diamond Centre offers therapeutic horse-riding and regular contact with horses for children and adults with disabilities. Featuring barbecue food, music, and of course the beautiful horses, the event was a fundraiser in support of the £300,000 required to run the centre annually.

Carshalton & Wallington MP Tom Brake said:

"The Diamond Centre is a wonderful organisation that has been providing great horse-riding experiences for children and adults for forty-five years. It is always a pleasure to support them in any way I can.

"This year’s Autumn Fair provided lots of fun for all who attended. I congratulate the Centre on another successful fundraising event."

The Diamond Centre is always looking for donations or for new volunteers. No experience is required, and anyone can help out. Visit their website www.diamondcentre.org.uk for more information about the organisation, and about becoming a volunteer.
