A competition has been launched by the Tiffin Club to find the best South Asian Restaurant in the country.

Members of Parliament are being asked to nominate the best and most popular South Asian (Indian/Bangladeshi & Pakistani) Restaurants in their constituencies.

Tom Brake the MP for Carshalton and Wallington said,

"I invite my constituents to write to me with their nominations for the best South Asian Restaurant in Carshalton and Wallington. I want to know where can you find the best chicken tikka masala or the tastiest biryani."

He also said "It would be very difficult to choose a winner due to the fact we have so many good South Asian restaurants in our area. Hence I am asking my constituents to help me find the best local eatery."

Once the nominations are made the winners will be invited to a special Cook-in in London where overall winner for the UK will be chosen. The money raised in this year's event will help to fund the first ever mobile breast cancer unit in India.
