Tom Brake regularly pounds the streets locally to listen to, and engage with, constituents.

This coming Saturday, Tom, and his team, will be knocking on the doors of local people in the Wrythe find out what matters to them. The team will be asking local residents their issues and opinions on topical issues, such as travel, education and health care.

Tom said, "I really enjoy the opportunity to discuss local, national and international issues with people. I find they are never reluctant to come forward with strong views."

The event is part of a wider community outreach project. In the coming months, Tom, along with his team, and Sutton Lib Dem Councillors, will be knocking on the doors of all 9 wards in Carshalton and Wallington.

Tom added: "I want to get to the heart of the real issues the local community face to ensure I am best equipped in representing local people's needs at Westminster."
