Responding to the Health Committee's report on obesity, Liberal Democrat MP Tom Brake said:
"Liberal Democrats have been campaigning to restrict the marketing of junk food to children for some time. I am therefore delighted to see this recommendation included in the report.
"However, more must also be done to ensure education and active travel is also at the heart of the obesity strategy. Children deserve the best start in life, and that is what we must provide them.
"I now fully expect Ministers to adopt the recommendations in this report."
