Carshalton and Wallington unemployment slashed for a fourth month

Unemployment in Carshalton and Wallington falls for a fourth consecutive month according to official numbers.

The Office for National Statistic (ONS) announced last week that the number of unemployed claimants in April 2014 was 1,336 – 642 lower than in April 2013 and 66 lower than the previous month, the biggest monthly fall since November 2013.

The reduction in bingo duty will come into effect from 30 June 2014 and local bingo halls say it couldn’t come sooner.
