What's happening this summer?

Are you looking for fun activities to keep the kids occupied during the summer holidays?

There are so many great activities taking place around Sutton to entertain you and your family this August. Here are just some of them:


Environmental fair

Over 150 stalls, children’s activities, local crafts, farmer’s market, clay sculpting, face painting, music and more. Held in Carshalton Park, Ruskin Road, Carshalton, SM5 3DD on 27th August from 10.30am to 8pm

Summer Fun Day

A great “Superheroes and villains” themed event with a range of activities, including a bouncy castle, treasure hunt, LEGO building and sporting games. It's on 16th August from 10am to 4pm at the Sutton Life Centre. Entry is £4 per child.

The Very Curious Caterpillar Adventure

Join Curious the Caterpillar on an adventure around Sutton Ecology Centre as he meets his puppet friends Lucy Ladybird, Berty Butterfly, Bella Bee and more! 7th August from 10.30am to 12noon and 1.30pm to 3pm.

Fun drama adventure for young children with a different theme each week. On every Tuesday in August from 1.30pm to 2.30pm at Carshalton Beeches Baptist Church.

Honeywood Museum

Illusion craft sessions every Friday in August from 3pm to 3.30pm - £1.50 per child. Pre-book at 020 8770 4297.

Honeywood Mini Explorers on 15 August, 11am to 1pm. Free entry for children aged 6 to 10 years. Pre-book at 020 8770 4297.

Sutton Ecology Centre

Curious Caterpillar Adventure on 7th August from 10:30am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 3pm. For children ages 3 to 7 years, £5.50 per child.

Weird Wildlife - meet some of nature’s weirder creatures including stick and leaf insects on 13th and 14th August. Tickets £4.50 per child.

Family Cycling Sessions

Wednesdays during Summer Holidays from 12noon to 1pm at the David Weir Leisure Centre. £4 per person - bikes and helmets provided.
