You Wait Ages for a Response and then a 1,000 Responses to the Bus Survey Turn Up at Once!

Following the launch of his bus survey on 27th February, Tom Brake MP’s Bus Survey has generated massive interest, with nearly 1,000 local residents in Carshalton & Wallington responding with their views on local bus services.

Commenting on the figures Tom Brake said:

"I am gob-smacked at the level of response that my survey has generated. Carshalton and Wallington relies heavily on buses and I know, from my conversations with local residents over the years, that we need more buses, especially around school runs but I hadn’t imagined it would create this level of interest.

"I will be using the results of this survey to put together a list of demands to take to Transport for London. Some of these demands will be around increasing frequency for certain services like the X26, 154 and 157 but I want to hear what else I should raise with TfL. I encourage residents to take part and help me share the link to my survey as widely as possible to local residents."

Later this year, Transport for London (TfL) will be conducting a review of bus services in the borough.
